It is the presence of blood in the anterior chamber of the eye, it produces a sudden decrease in vision and generally resolves in a few days (3 to 5), which may recur and may cause an increase in ocular tension. Generally secondary to trauma or eye surgery.

Treatment: indicate antifibrinolytics and ocular hypotensive, if not reversed, the treatment is surgical.
