When some pathological process affects the eye orbit. They can be produced by:

• Fractures

• Cavernous sinus thrombosis

• Inflammation

• Infections (e.g., orbital cellulitis and preseptal cellulitis)

• Tumors

• Alteration in the thyroid gland.

Treatment: depending on the origin, attack the cause.
