CONGENITAL ESODEVIATIONS

 

It is the most frequent strabismus in early childhood, it is characterized by a convergent deviation (inward) of the visual axes, it appears between two and four months of life. It appears before six months of life, with a wide angle of deviation, fixation in adduction, latent nystagmus, and torticollis.

Treatment: Glasses depending on the defect, undeveloped eye patches and strabismus surgery, as appropriate.
