It is the most common form of divergent strabismus. It is characterized by fluctuation of the visual sensory system comprising binocular vision with stereopsis when the eyes are aligned and suppression with abnormal retinal correspondence when deviation occurs.

Treatment: Glasses, lazy eye patch, and surgery, if needed.
