When there is a prolapse of peri orbital fat, due to the weakening in Tenon's capsule. There is tissue of a soft, mobile consistency, yellow in color and classically located in the upper and temporal quadrant of the eyeball. It can give symptoms such as a foreign body sensation or interfere with the proper closing of the eyelids.

Treatment: consists of its removal through a conjunctival incision, always considering how far to withdraw in order to avoid post-surgical complications.
