It is an ocular pathology, manifested as a fibrous and vascularized proliferation in the corneal-conjunctival limit, usually on the nasal side, which can invade the cornea and alter transparency. Ultraviolet rays and microtrauma when riding a motorcycle or bicycle, without adequate protection, favor its appearance.

Treatment: The use of lubricants or eye drops with a mild steroid can reduce swelling and redness, the use of topical cyclosporine for dry eye is also helpful. If it does not improve with medical treatment, surgery is necessary.
